Projects and People
Here are some of the amazing folks I’ve worked with recently.
RainCity Housing is a grassroots organization built around compassion, purpose and a commitment to delivering progressive housing and support solutions for people living with mental illness, addictions and other challenges. I helped them draft technical requirements for their online scheduling needs (update May 2013 – and now I’m helping them with an amazing transmedia project!)
Change your accounting, change your life, change the world! Ecotaxfile is an secure online accounting service that takes the stress out of tax time – and they just might change the way you live for the greener. Once your taxes are reviewed and filed, they issue you a personal eco-report that highlights where changing your practices (even your morning Americano) could help you change the world and save money too. To help, they also offer sweet perks (hello car coop) to help you green up your lifestyle. I helped them out with their social media approach, and you can follow them here and here.
Rare Bird challenges you to break your cage and own the sky through their unique coaching and creative services. To get a taste of what Emily Silbert can do for you, follow her on Facebook and check out her weekly challenges.
yoyomama is an email, website, social media network and mobile app for families in the Lower Mainland and the GTA. As the trusted source for what to do, where to go and great products for kids (and their parents), yoyomama makes the lives of local families less yoyo-like with their eco-friendly, reliable, realistic and fun info! I am proud to be their Vancouver assignments editor and a regular contributor. To try out their free app, visit OnTheGoKids and to pitch me, email editor@yoyomama(dot)ca.
